The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is all cooperative effort between the towns of Stoughton, Holbrook, Avon, and Randolph Massachusetts. The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a volunteer unit whose mission to improve the health and safety of our communities across by organizing and utilizing public health, medical and other volunteers.
What do we do?
- Support local public health and emergency preparedness initiatives
- Assist local hospitals & health departments with surge personnel needs
- Participate in vaccination exercises and community disaster drills
- Assist with Local and Regional Disaster Preparedness and Response in cooperation with local Emergency Management Agencies
You DO NOT need medical training to volunteer; all you need is a desire to help your community and a willingness to work as a part of our team.
Why volunteer?

- Obtain a sense of pride and accomplishment through Community service and involvement
- Network and interact with like-minded peers
Meetings
Meetings are usually held at Holbrook Community Access Media, 140 North Franklin Street, and most are open to visitors
Usually 2nd and 4th THURSDAY
Most meetings begin promptly at 7:00pm

The Stoughton-Holbrook-Avon-Randolph Medical Reserve Corps has its own bylaws, and a Board of Directors comprised of the Health Agents (or designees) and Emergency Management Directors (or designees) The Board of Directors sets policies and approves spending.
A steering committee comprised of local residents and businesses will be formed soon. The steering committe will make recommendations for the MRC.

FEATURED INDEPENDENT STUDY TRAINING!!!
THIS IMPORTANT COURSE IS REQUIRED BY THE MEDICAL RESERVE CORPS, AND WILL HELP US REMAIN ELIGIBLE FOR SOME FEDERAL GRANTS. MRC MEMBERS ARE ASKED TO COMPLETE THE COURSE AND FORWARD THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION TO OUR MRC LEADERSHIP. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED ICS-100 OR ICS-100a, YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ICS-100b. HOWEVER, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU REVIEW THE COURSE AND THE MATERIALS SO YOU CAN BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE NUMEROUS CHANGES.
